📦 FOR LOGISTICS MANAGERS (LGM)

Your goal: Post your first shipment and see competitive bids within 24 hours.
Time needed: 8 minutes
What you'll need: Company details, shipper/consignee info, cargo specs

Step 1: Sign Up (2 minutes)

1. Go to logisticsandbeyond.co.ke
2. Click "Start Free Trial"
3. Enter email + password
4. Verify email (check inbox)

Step 2: Complete Your Profile (3 minutes)

• Company name + address
• Phone + contact person
• Import history (rough shipment volume)
• Key routes you ship on

Step 3: Create Your First Order (3 minutes)

1. Click "Create Order"
2. Fill in:
   • From: Your warehouse/pickup location
   • To: Destination city + port
   • Cargo: Weight, dimensions, type (e.g., "Electronics – 2 pallets, 500kg")
   • Timeline: When do you need it delivered?
3. Click "Post Order"

Bids arrive in: 2–24 hours from verified freight forwarders

Step 4: Review Bids (2 minutes)

Click on each bid to see:

• Forwarder rating + history
• Cost breakdown (freight, customs, handling)
• Delivery timeline
• Guarantees (on-time delivery, tracking)

🚢 FOR FREIGHT FORWARDERS (FFW)

Your goal: Access new cargo and win your first bid within 48 hours.

What you'll need: Company details, transporter network, clearing credentials

Step 1: Sign Up (2 minutes)

1. Go to logisticsandbeyond.co.ke
2. Click "Start Free Trial"
3. Select "Freight Forwarder" as your role
4. Email + password

Step 2: Set Up Your Company Profile (3 minutes)

• Company name + office locations
• Years in business + licenses (clearing agent #, forwarder license)
• Your network: How many transporters do you work with regularly?
• Specialization: Which corridors? (Mombasa–Nairobi, Dar–Kigali, etc.)
• Success rate: Average on-time delivery %. Your average payment timing.

Step 3: Invite Your Transporters (2 minutes)

1. Click "My Network" → "Add Transporters"
2. Enter phone numbers of your 5 best transporters
3. They get an SMS invite
4. They join and you manage them from one dashboard

Step 4: Respond to Your First RFP (1 minute)

Dashboard shows: "New RFP: 10 pallets, Nairobi to Kigali, 5-day window"

1. You see the shipper's name + cargo specs
2. Click "Submit Bid"
3. Enter your price
4. Assign one of your transporters
5. Submit. Done.

What you'll need: Truck info, your route(s), M-Pesa account

3. Select "Transporter" as your role
4. Phone number (for M-Pesa verification)

Step 2: Add Your Truck(s) (2 minutes)

• Registration number
• Capacity (weight + volume)
• Routes you usually run:
  • Mombasa ↔ Nairobi?
  • Nairobi ↔ Kampala?
  • Other?
• Truck condition: Good, fair, or needs work (affects bid opportunities)

Step 3: Check Available Cargo (1 minute)

Dashboard shows live loads matching your routes.

Example: "Nairobi → Kampala: 8 pallets, pays KES 25,000"

1. Click to bid
2. Forwarder accepts or counter-offers
3. Trip confirmed. You get shipper details + pickup time.

Step 4: Deliver & Get Paid (Real Difference)

1. Deliver cargo to destination
2. Driver takes a photo of goods at delivery point
3. Submit Proof of Delivery (POD) via app
4. Payment triggered automatically (not waiting 45 days)
5. Money in M-Pesa account within 3–7 business days

🏭 FOR WAREHOUSE MANAGERS (WHM)

Your goal: List your space to the market and fill underutilized capacity.

What you'll need: Warehouse details, capacity, location, rates

Step 1: Sign Up (2 minutes)

3. Select "Warehouse Manager" as your role
4. Email + phone

Step 2: Add Your Warehouse (3 minutes)

• Warehouse name + location (e.g., "Nairobi Industrial Area, Plot 123")
• Total capacity: sqm + pallet spaces
• Current utilization: % full right now (e.g., "60%")
• Rates: Cost per sqm/month? Per pallet space?
• Amenities: Climate control? Security? Forklift? Cool storage?
• Accessibility: Who can book? All cargo types? Hazmat? Perishables?

Step 3: Go Live (1 minute)

1. Click "Publish Listing"
2. Your warehouse is now searchable by freight forwarders + shippers
3. They can check availability in real-time
4. They can book directly from your dashboard

Step 4: Manage Bookings (Ongoing)

• Shipper books your space: 100 pallets, 30 days
• You receive notification + payment schedule
• Digital receipt: Goods checked in, recorded in system
• Forwarder gets tracking link (they see inventory in real-time)
• Shipper pays you; goods stay secure
