Logistics and Beyond Ltd ("Logistics & Beyond", "we", "our", "us") is a company registered in Kenya operating the Logistics & Beyond logistics marketplace platform at logisticsandbeyond.co.ke. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this platform.

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and applicable international standards.

• Match shippers with freight forwarders and transporters

• Send marketing communications (with your consent, withdrawable at any time)

• Analyse platform performance and improve user experience

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only where necessary:

• Other platform users: Your public profile, ratings, and completed shipment count are visible to other users. Your contact details are shared only with counterparties on confirmed transactions.
• Pesapal: Payment processing data is shared with Pesapal Ltd under their privacy policy.
• Service providers: Hosting (server provider), email delivery (Mailgun/SendGrid), analytics. All under data processing agreements.
• Legal authorities: Where required by Kenyan law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active plus 7 years thereafter for legal and financial compliance purposes. Transaction records are retained for 7 years per Kenya Revenue Authority requirements. You may request deletion of your account at any time; transaction records required for legal compliance will be retained in anonymised form.

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Object to processing for direct marketing

Our platform is intended for business users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by displaying a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
